Barbara Ann "Bean" Firman

Barbara Ann Firman, 82 of Livonia, Michigan passed away on April 10, 2017 surrounded by family and friends. Barbara was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 12, 1935.  She was a homemaker that enjoyed baking wonderful cakes and cookies for her family and friends. She loved working in her garden, watching golf and baseball. Barbara was married to Gerald Firman on September 1, 1951 and they were married for 64 years before he passed away in 2015. Barbara is preceded in death by her husband Gerald Firman, Sr.; Son Gerald Firman Jr., parents Wilford and Ann Bean; two brothers Chuck and Gerald Bean; two sister-in-law’s Rita Lynn and June Bean. Barbara is survived by 3 children, Shelly (Jim) Vogelsberg, Gary Firman and David (Karen) Firman; sister Joanie (Al) Letourneau; ten grandchildren Zachary Vogelsberg, Brandon Vogelsberg, Eric (Fernanda) Firman, Kristen Firman, Mike Firman, Bob Firman, Greg (Amber) Firman, Frank (Megan) Firman, Danny Firman and Barbie Firman; 17 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Visitation for Barbara will be held Saturday, April 15, 2017 from 10:00 AM until the time of the Memorial Service at 2:00 PM at Manns Family Funeral Home, 17000 Middlebelt, Livonia, 48154. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the Disabled American Veterans.
