Arthur Theodore Kohlstrunk

Arthur Theodore Kohlstrunk, of Carleton, Michigan, passed away on April 24, 2023.

Arthur was born in Boonton, New Jersey on October 12, 1923, to Walter and Olga Kohlstrunk. He graduated from Boonton High School and continued on to receive a Bachelor of Science from the Detroit Institute of Technology, following a stint in the US Navy from 1942 - 1948.

Arthur was married to Isabel Jane Stover on April 5, 1952; they were married 68 years.

Arthur worked as a mechanical engineer at various companies and was credited for several patents. He enjoyed golfing as well as collecting stamps and coins.

Arthur is survived by a sister, Ruth Woodside, of New Zealand, daughter Joanne (Tom) Northey, granddaughters Alaina Clemons and Elyssa (Luke) Bisoski and three grandchildren, Alex, Julia, and Calvin.

Arthur is preceded in death by his parents Walter and Olga, wife Isabel, and daughter Carol (Tom) Kourtakis.

Visitation will be held Saturday, May 6th at 10:00 am followed by memorial service at 11:00 am at St. Matthews United Methodist Church in Livonia.

Memorial donations in memory of Arthur may be made to St. Matthews UMC, Livonia, Michigan.
