Angelina Mcwhorter

Angelina McWhorter passed away December 19, 2018, after a long illness. She was born March 22, 1926 in Rome, Italy.   She is the loving mother of daughters: Ann Marie (Lonnie) Ervin, Judy (Robert) Dedow, Marguerita (Johnnie) Archie, and sons: Abner (Dorothy), William (Janet), Arthur, and Angelo (Brenda). She was a proud grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Benell and son Alfredo.   Angelina was a loving woman who will be deeply missed by family and friends who cherished her strength, intelligence, wit, integrity and generosity.   Angelina will be In-State at 10:30am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00am at St. Michael the Archangel Parish, 11441 Hubbard, Livonia 48150. Interment will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield following the funeral Mass.
